Costs and Payments Short

Unionville Crew is funded entirely by dues and fundraising efforts. We know that rowing is a big commitment for the entire family so we strive to keep the fundraising obligations small and manageable. We do not receive any financial support from the Unionville School District and are therefore considered a club sport. However, in all other aspects we are just like any varsity sport at Unionville. We train, work, and race at a high level with the expectation that we will excel at all levels.

The Board has worked hard to reduce the cost for the upcoming season. We have also been able to include the cost of uniforms and USRowing membership in the fees below! 

New for 2017 – The membership fee below includes – Racing uni for all Varsity athletes, racing top for all Novice athletes, USRowing membership for all athletes (when it is time to renew, we pay for the renewal) – more details will be made available at the fall information meeting.

The fees for the 2017 fall season are as follows:

Returning athletes – $950

Novice athletes (never previously rowed for Unionville) – $850

There is a $100 discount for multiple athletes from the same family.

If you want to use the bus to travel back and forth to the boathouse for weekday practices that cost is approximately $225 (will be determined in August).

Payment instructions and options will be available once the bus fee is finalized.

  • Boathouse fees including all equipment storage
  • Coaching
  • Equipment rental/purchase
  • Regatta registration
  • Ongoing maintenance and equipment upkeep costs
  • Parent tent at regattas
  • Transportation of equipment to and from regattas
  • Insurance
